Launched in May 2024 as a five-year, $500 million successor to the Social Welfare Development Fund, the Dedicated Fund supports NGOs operating subvented welfare services in meeting their development needs. It funds staff training, IT and non-IT system enhancement projects, Mainland exchange tours and national studies programmes, with streamlined application procedures and e-applications so NGOs can apply at their own pace.
