The Hong Kong Arts Development Council's Project Grant is the flagship grant scheme for local arts projects across art forms including music, dance, xiqu, drama, visual arts, film and media arts, literary arts and arts education. Applications are assessed by HKADC members and examiners of the relevant art-form groups, with assessors appointed to evaluate project results. First-time grantees must complete their funded project and submit a satisfactory project report before a further application is accepted.

How to apply

Who can apply
Limited companies incorporated in Hong Kong and societies registered or exempted under the Societies Ordinance; individual artists holding a Hong Kong identity card (aged 18 or above); profit-making organisations may apply only with sufficient proof that the project is non-profit-making.
Application process
Complete the relevant Project Grant application form and submit in person, by post, courier or email ([email protected]) on or before the deadline; applications are assessed by HKADC members and art-form examiners, with a frozen-list mechanism for overdue projects and reports.
