Established in 1994 (originally the Bank of China Group Charitable Foundation), the Foundation is the charitable arm of Bank of China (Hong Kong), with cumulative donations of around HK$1.7 billion. It funds poverty alleviation, youth development, environmental protection and carbon reduction, sports and the arts, working with 70+ charitable organisations on around 76 projects in 2021.
